Initial Dose & Incremental Adjustments

1. Vitiligo: 150-200 mJ/cm²
2. Psoriasis: 300 mJ/cm²

Body Areas and Dose Adjustments:

1. Face and Perineum: 150-180 mJ/cm²

   • Increment Adjustments:
     • No redness: +50-80 mJ/cm²
     • Redness lasting <12 hours: +30-50 mJ/cm²
     • Redness lasting 1 day: Maintain dose
     • Redness lasting >1 day: Reduce dose

2. Hand Palm and Foot: 400 mJ/cm²

Instructions for Use

Pre-Treatment Steps

1. Bathing: Take a 15-20 minute bath to remove skin scales.

2. Determine MED: Minimum Erythema Dose (MED) must be calculated before treatment.

• MED Formula: Irradiation Time (seconds)=Dose ×1000 / Lamp Intensity

Treatment Protocols

• Psoriasis:

  • Frequency: 3-4 times/week
  • Treatment Course: 15-20 sessions

• Vitiligo:

• Frequency: 2-3 times/week
• Treatment Course: 30-50 sessions or more

Dose Adjustment Guidelines:

A. No Erythema or Previous Erythema Resolved:

• Increase dose by 20-25%.

B. Mild Erythema:

• Maintain the same dose or increase by 10%.
• If resolved, follow "A."

C. Asymptomatic Shiny Erythema:

• Skip one treatment, then resume with the same dose.
• Gradually increase by 10% for subsequent sessions.

D. Painful Erythema with Edema or Blisters:

• Stop treatment until recovery.
• Resume at half the previous dose.
