Fortini Infant is a specialized, medical food designed for infants from birth up to 18 months (or ~9 kg) who have or are at risk of faltering growth, increased energy needs, or fluid restriction.

How to Use & Administration

• Use under medical supervision. Because Fortini Infant is a food for special medical purposes it should be used as directed by a healthcare provider.
• Serve directly from the carton. It can be used as a sole source of nutrition for eligible infants, or as a supplemental feeding in combination with breast milk or other formula, especially when increased calories are needed. Monitor and review growth, tolerance, intake, and fluid status regularly as part of the care plan.

Important Considerations

• Contains milk (nonfat milk, whey protein) and soy-derived oils — not suitable for infants with severe milk-protein allergy unless advised by a specialist.
• Because of its high calorie density and specialized use, it is not intended for healthy infants without increased energy requirements or growth concerns.
• Storage: Keep unopened cartons at room temperature. Once opened or fed from, follow label instructions for safe handling and use.
