Description
- Tri-Buffered is a combination of pain-relieving aspirin plus three antacids: calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate and magnesium oxide (the antacids act as a buffering agent to help neutralize stomach acid irritation that aspirin may cause).
- Tri-Buffered is an analgesic that blocks the production of prostaglandins which mediate pain messages to the brain; it is also an anti-inflammatory.
- There are 325 milligrams of aspirin in each tablet; each tablet is buffered with calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate and magnesium oxide.
